| 1960 | Iskra Group formed company named Iskra KEKO Ceramic Capacitors (abr. KEKO) for production of disc ceramic capacitors in Žužemberk. | |
| 1979 | KEKO started production of multilayer ceramic capacitors. | |
| 1990 | KEKO separated itself from Iskra Group and went on its own determining its own production programme, supply chains and markets. KEKO introduced production of PTC heaters. KEKO started development of disc and multilayer varistors. | |
| 1995 | Under the pressure of lost markets of former Yugoslavia and Soviet Union KEKO was forced to close its doors. In Oct. 1995 on the remains of KEKO was established KEKO VARICON with the help of Technological Development Found of Slovenia with DM 120.000 in capital in rented facility of former company KEKO taking over its production of disc ceramic capacititors and varistors. | |
| 1996 | Multilayer varistors - varicons and dual function varicons were introduced into production of KEKO VARICON in 1996. KEKO VARICON bought ISKRA SEMI, the company where development of thermoplastic encapsulated components was initiated. | |
| 1997 | KEKO VARICON bought production facility of ~ 6,000 m2 and equipment from former company KEKO. | |
| 1999 | Horizonte Venture Management joined KEKO VARICON as an investor becoming its major owner. In that year KEKO VARICON started new investment cycle into equipment, human resources, approvals and in establishment of agency and distribution network throughout Europe. In October 1999 KEKO VARICON attained ISO 9001. KEKO VARICON established Institute for Development of Electronic Components. | |
| 2000 | KEKO VARICON increased sales for more than 82 %, continued investments into equipment, human resources, quality assurance system and concluded strategic alliance with SEI Electronics, Inc. for the purpose of sales in North America. | |
| 2001 | Several VDE, UL and CSA products were attained for both varistors and capacitors. KEKO VARICON commenced production of multilayer ceramic capacitors. | |
| 2002 | KEKO VARICON attained ISO 9001:2000 certificate. | |
| 2003 | KEKO VARICON increased sales for more than 45 % and increased its presence in automotive in industrial sector. KEKO VARICON attained ISO 14001 and UL/CSA approvals for majority of its coated through-hole components. | |
| 2004 | KEKO VARICON increased sales for additional 21% and attained Slovenian Gazela 2004 award as the best fast growing company in Slovenia. | |
| 2005 | KEKO VARICON attained a series of awards : Ecological Fund of Republic of Slovenia, Slovenian Agency for Environment and magazine Finance awarded KEKO VARICON as The Most Environment Friendly Small/Medium Company in Slovenia According to analysis of Slovenian magazine Delo KEKO VARICON occupies 7th position in Slovenia for its financial parameters Slovenian branch of D&B announced KEKO VARICON to be among 50 companies in Slovenia with credit record1A1. |

| 2007 | Keko Varicon changes it's ownership structure. Mohar Satler group enters Keko Varicon as strategic long term partner and a major stakeholder. New general manager of Keko Varicon becomes Mr. Branko Klemenčič. |
