Environmental policy leading to sustainable development is a constituent part of business management and organisational culture at KEKO VARICON. It is implemented by planning of environment treatment, managing environmental programmes, monitoring and measuring the environmental aspects of business operations, and by taking prompt measures in case of deviations from the environmental policy goals.

The fundamental principle of the activities we pursue and develop is concern for a healthy and safe living environment. We are aware that an environmental-friendly company ensures a pleasant work environment and coexistence with neighbours; this, however, is only possible through compliance with all environmental standards set by the company.

At KEKO VARICON, the environment treatment system is incorporated into all of the company’s business functions.

1.	We at KEKO VARICON have committed ourselves to five fundamental goals in the field of environment treatment, We shall:
	► reduce the use of hazardous substances ► exploit natural resources in an economical way ► manufacture environmental-friendly products ► systematically collect, process and adequately relocate hazardous and communal waste ► reduce emissions of hazardous substances to the lowest possible level

The customer must be confident that our product is worth his money, and that by purchasing the product he has joined the customers who know what quality is, and therefore:

► Incorporating environment treatment into our development strategy as well as specific investments and projects, thus preventing, to the maximum extent possible, the emergence of negative environmental impacts ► Monitoring and measuring environmental aspects, as well as taking appropriate measures in case of deviations ► Working on reducing emissions into the environment in accordance with the condition of available machinery and devices, as well as technological procedures ► Replacing hazardous substances with less hazardous ones in technologies that allow this ► Educating and training the employees, raising their awareness of responsibility towards the work environment and the broader environment ► Monitoring and consistently observing the valid legal regulations and guidelines laid out by the domestic and EU legislation in the field of environmental protection ► Ensuring continuous improvement in the field of environment by setting environmental goals and programmes systematically ► Informing the employees and the public of the situation and achievements in the field of environment treatment
